Voting Rights, Rigged Elections, and the Pork Reich
As I mentioned in a post the other day, I’ve started publishing shorter and more timely compilations of my social media blogging under the header “The Mini-Skinny” over on Can’t You Read. In today’s edition, I’m drawing material from my Pinko Postcards on Instagram, my Quickshot Quotations on Facebook, and a recent Nina-Bytes blog on Media Madness, to look at how the fascist creep is rolling out in Weimar America. Warning; if you’re feeling squeamish you might want to look away – the fascists are currently routing our “standards and norms” because literally nobody in a position of authority, is doing anything to oppose them.
From corrupt Senators, to corporate America, a whole lot of people who should know better are signaling loud and clear that they’re fine with an overt fascist takeover in the Pig Empire; and that does not bode well for 2024 in the United States, at a minimum.
“This, at the end of the day, is what I mean when I talk to you about Weimar America. It’s not so much a set of historical circumstances shared between interwar Germany and modern America, as it is a social ethos built around exceptionalism and liberal capitalist norms, that leads to a seemingly inevitable, and wholly predictable surrender to fascism.”
