Kropotkin’s Barbershop Pilot Episode: Bulls on Parade

Editor’s note: Kropotkin’s Barbershop is a current affairs, roundtable discussion program from a left wing perspective. Hosted by Nina Illingworth and Charles Minnich, this bi-weekly podcast also features writer Chris Walker, and producer Adam Scriven. Always anti-capitalist, anti-imperialist, and anti-white supremacist, our podcasting foursome tackles life in a neofeudalist dystopia in a presentation you won’t want to miss.

A Pocket Full of Shells

As I mentioned in a recent update, there’s a micro-revolution going on here at NIDC as one era ends, and another begins. On one hand, we’re bidding goodbye to the popular No Fugazi podcast. On the other, I’m proud to welcome you to the pilot episode presentation of a new project I’m extremely excited about; the Kropotkin’s Barbershop podcast. Joined by my co-host Charles Minnich, writer Chris Walker, and KBS producer Adam Scriven, we’re building a new sort of round table discussion program that I think will be familiar enough to appeal to No Fugazi listeners, but different enough to change our little corner of the podcasting game here on NIDC.

In this pilot episode, Walker has the crew wading directly into the nexus of crackerism, vigilante violence, and frontier justice that supports and protects the Pig Empire capitalist order to this very day. We’re talking about a Kyle Rittenhouse verdict that made a mockery of American justice, and the trial of three white men who executed Ahmaud Arbery; a trial that almost didn’t happen at all. We’ve got fascism, police violence, and frank conversations about white supremacy, today on Kropotkin’s Barbershop.

“The problem is liberals revere the system over literally anything else; up to and including your life, your wellbeing, your basic human rights. The belief in the rule of law, trumps everything.”

Find out more by listening to our latest episode, available both on SoundCloud and the Kropotkin’s Barbershop home page. We’re currently working on getting our show onto ITunes and Spotify; please follow the KBS Pod Twitter account for more updates as this situation develops.
